Artist Statement:

I am most interested in stories that hold a mirror up to our society, that have heart, that give the audience a chance to question, reflect, and in that reflection laugh, morn, scream out and take action. Like Brecht, I strive to create political theater but unlike Brecht, I believe that empathy and emotion are important muscles for an audience and for humanity as a whole to exercise.

I love exploring the depths of the imagination, to have a playfulness in character and lyrics, to create a new world for the audience to explore.

Songs are a powerful tool.  They affect both body and mind.  Songs pull at the soul.
